​Thank you for visiting my website.

My name is Annamaria Kontor, MD, FAAP.
I founded TransFair Medical to start a private practice for patients under the age of 25 regardless of race, disability, sex, or gender identity.

Then I received a great opportunity, which I had to accept. I became a staff member of Trillium Health - a practice with the goal of offering excellent and equitable healthcare and support services, to educate and to advocate for all patients, including the LGBTQ population.

I have decades of experience as a primary care pediatrician providing pediatric, adolescent and young adult care, an impeccable clinical record, and great relationship with my patients. I had extensive training in transgender medical care, and I am the first (and so far only) physician member of the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) in Rochester, NY. I am providing primary care and transgender medical care, including gender-affirming hormone therapy, to our young adult patients.
